PRINCIPLE OF DILIGENCE
Laziness has a way of sneaking up on people and to discern it is imperative if one is to be successful at anything.
Just because people go to work and are active does not necessarily mean they are effective at their job. Busyness doesn't equate to productivity.
Too many folks go to "work" and waste time without even considering the consequences. Financial lack may be one of those factors of laziness, normally it is.
Isn't it ironic that busyness is almost identical to business? Yet, they are two distinctive identities and have different meanings.
Busyness can be deceptive if all we are doing is exercising motion without desired results. For example: we can waste an enormous amount of time checking emails and being on the phone. Most people do. The key is to focus on what's essential to produce desired results.
How do we know what results we must fulfill? We have to focus. Focus on what we are after. Is it getting paid? Providing a solution for a client? Selling a product or service? Completing an assignment?
Results require planning. Planning, even to a small degree, will provide an outcome of results! Planning and results go hand in hand. Try to build a house without first planning for it and you will surely fail in the process at some point.
Laziness doesn't like to plan. Most financially broke people fail to plan, not all, but most. Laziness is sneaky and a robber. Laziness gives temporary emotional satisfaction and diligence will do the opposite.
